Shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday

Pay: $25.74 an hour

 

ABOUT THE ROLE
 

The Warehouse Operations Clerk performs administrative tasks to support the warehouse. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Posting inventory control transactions (i.e. inbound and outbound shipments, production adjustments, returned goods).
  • Conducting daily and end of month balancing.
  • Working with Carmel’s customer service representatives concerning orders and deliveries.
  • Using approved vendor companies to arrange outgoing shipment of orders to meet specified delivery dates.
  • Performing all the above duties, and those not listed, in a safe and conscientious manner with regard to his or her own safety, the safety of fellow teammates, and the safety of all people who are effected by the performance of these daily activities.
  • Back up for Material Control Receiving Coordinator.
  • Verifying and posting of received materials and good.
  • Assist in monthly physical inventory.
  • Keeping warehouse office (including driver check-in room) neat and orderly.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR


•    High school diploma required
•    1-2 years vocational training/associates degree.

 

Working conditions


The working conditions include an indoor, dusty non-temperature controlled, industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment. Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdoor activities in hot or adverse weather.

 

Physical requirements


•    Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb and move about the facility
•    Regularly utilizes depth perception, peripheral vision and close focus
•    Regularly operates a computer, computer accessories and phone equipment
•    Required to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
•    Occasionally stoops, kneels, reaches, fingers and carries
•    Ability to hear at normal speaking levels
