ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a performance-driven Customer Care & Logistics Coordinator to lead the order-taking and customer service function for our Ready Mix business in the Greater Winnipeg Area Region. This role is ideal for a results-oriented team member who thrives on using data to drive decisions, improve performance, and lead change.
As a key member of the distribution leadership team, you will be responsible for optimizing the customer care process, coaching staff, championing digital adoption (e.g., Concrete Direct), and ensuring we meet both service expectations and operational KPIs. This position plays a central role in aligning people, platforms, and performance to enhance the customer experience while improving efficiency.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Coach, train, and hold the customer care team accountable to drive continuous performance improvement.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to enhance service efficiency and quality.

Lead regional adoption and training for Concrete Direct, transitioning customers to digital ordering platforms and tracking performance metrics.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Dispatch, Sales, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure seamless and accurate service delivery.

Analyze daily order activity to identify and implement process improvements that reduce errors, delays, and inefficiencies.

Serve as the escalation point for complex service or delivery issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Document service issues, team performance metrics, and customer feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide insights and reports to the Operations Manager and senior leadership to inform strategic planning and operational decisions.

Champion a customer-first mindset and ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Amrize’s internal policies.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Required Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or ready-mix operations, with a proven track record in performance management or team leadership.
Required Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to work with data (Excel, KPIs, dashboards, reporting tools).
Additional Requirements:

Experience in driving change initiatives, particularly involving process improvement or digital adoption.

Familiarity with systems such as Command, Concrete Direct, GPS tools, and customer call management systems is an asset.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to coach others while fostering accountability.

High attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, as well as manage multiple priorities.

Willingness to work flexible hours based on operational needs.

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
