ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary objective of this position is to perform testing and electrical maintenance repair of the plant’s equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Troubleshoot and repair a diverse range of electrical equipment throughout the cement plant (Example: Instrumentation circuits, motor control circuits up to 13.8 kilovolts, low and medium voltage drives, monitoring analyzers)
- Schematic reading & instrumentation calibration
- Digital and Analog PLC program use in troubleshooting
- Low and medium voltage cable routing, splicing and terminating
- Basic mechanical activities (For example: Non-critical welding, laser alignment)
- Perform walk-by inspections & diagnostic checks
- Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in various team activities
- This position will work with technicians and management as well as customers. They will communicate and work together to insure the customer’s needs are met in a safety and constructive manner.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Education: High School Diploma/GED
Additional Education Preferred: Associates, Technical Degree
Field of Study Preferred: Electrical
Required Work Experience: 1-3 years
Required Computer and Software Skills: General computer proficiency
Travel Requirements: Some local travel
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work independently
- Mathematical ability
- High degree of accuracy
- The ability to operate electrical test equipment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
