ABOUT THE ROLE
Perform maintenance, equipment operation, grounds and housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment managed by regional business entities.


WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
•    Performs emergency and routine repairs and maintenance on plant equipment and structures at the site locations. May perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment. Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment.
•    Assists in various projects at the plant locations to make sure production is maintained.
•    Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the plant and yard area by using general housekeeping practices.
•    Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties. Work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation.
•    Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers serviced.
•    Safely perform maintenance activities to insure plant efficiency
•    Prioritizes SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION
•    Ensures a safe work environment for self and others at all times. 
•    Trains and coaches other employees when needed
•    Performs other duties as time permits or as assigned 
•    To act in a safe manor, aware and willing to act upon observing any unsafe practices.
•    Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Field of Study Preferred: N/A
Required Work Experience: Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent equipment operation skills.
Travel Requirements: N/A

Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim Approved Personal Protection Equipment (“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators.  Employee that are required to war respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
