ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Responsible for the safety, training and performance of all assigned employees, including contractors
- The Reliability Supervisor will work closely with equipment suppliers, plant staff to ensure successful operation of the plant.
- Responsible for monitoring reliability based systems including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring.
- Participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs) for new equipment.
- Management of the preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography, etc.) to ensure optimum equipment availability.
- Analysis and elimination of repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA and similar techniques.
- Support and guide sustainable improvements in MTBF of major equipment.
- Responsible for the facilitation of continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability.
- Provide ongoing reports as needed on the CBM program status.
- Responsible for the process of gathering input, and facilitate task completion through others.
- Research solutions to technical problems.
- Coordinate SAP system operations in the area of preventative maintenance routine (PMR) optimization and development with maintenance planners.
- Provide technical support, training and development for maintenance functions with specific focus on entrenching reliability concepts within the maintenance group.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree
Additional Education Preferred: Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
Required Work Experience: 3-5 Years. Experience in heavy manufacturing environment is heavily preferred.
Required Technical Skills: CBM Certifications preferred, SAP, Excel, Word, Project, etc.
Travel Requirements: 0-10%
Additional Requirements:
Experience in FFT analysis of vibration spectra on a range of heavy industrial plant
Experience in practical application of FMEA, NDT inspection techniques preferred
Working knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, motors, starts, VFD’s preferred
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
