ABOUT THE ROLE

The New Construction National Account Manager (Gaco) is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share for Gaco’s commercial building envelope solutions. This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships with top National General Contractors (GCs), architects, and specifiers to secure Gaco products across commercial construction projects nationwide.

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Strategic Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Actively mine lead platforms such as Dodge Data & Analytics and ConstructConnect to identify high-value commercial construction opportunities.
  • Own the end-to-end engagement strategy for specifying architects, bidding GCs, commercial developers and industry consultants.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns tailored to specific project requirements and specifications.

National Account Leadership

  • Serve as the primary, dedicated point of contact for establishing, maintaining, and growing relationships with top-tier National General Contractors.
  • Position Gaco as a preferred commercial partner across all key customer touchpoints.

Technical Consultation & Expertise

  • Leverage deep technical acumen to present, position, and consult on Gaco’s core portfolio: Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF), Decking & Waterproofing (DWP), and Roof Coatings.
  • Assist specifiers and contractors with product selection, application methods, and technical troubleshooting.

Cross-Functional & Field Execution

  • Partner closely with regional sales representatives, technical service managers, and marketing teams to support project bidding, execution, and close-out.
  • Seamlessly manage hand-offs between national account customers and local field-level execution.

Pipeline & Sales Management

  • Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of active and prospective new commercial construction targets.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, market intelligence, and regular status updates to leadership.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience: 5+ years of strategic sales or national account management within the commercial building materials industry (Roofing, Waterproofing, or Insulation preferred).
Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with building envelope systems (Foam, Roof Coatings, Fluid-Applied Membranes).
Industry Tools: Proficient in leveraging construction tracking tools (Dodge, ConstructConnect) and CRM platforms.
Travel: Willingness to travel nationally as required by business needs.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
