ABOUT THE ROLE

The Summer Help Program employs individuals who are graduating this year from High School or a High School graduate who is currently attending and will continue to attend college/ university/or post High School vocational training on a full time basis during the 2026 school year. The Summer Help Program duties are to perform general labor tasks assigned by the Plant Management.

 

This is a temporary day position during the summer months of June, July, and August 2026. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Landscaping, Painting, Cleaning
  • Assist with gradation in the lab to distribution of particle sizes within a sample of aggregate
  • Administrative tasks, lab cleaning
  • Assist with crushing stone
  • Lab cleaning
  • Crushing Stone
  • Other Duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 
Education: High School Diploma, At least 18 years of age by June 1, 2026

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Enrolled fulltime in a post high school education program or enlisting in the military.
  • Physically able to perform the work (lift up to 50 lbs.)
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Successfully pass a physical and drug screen.
  • Work well in a team and a minimum supervised setting.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills required (English)
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
