ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical, fleet, and structural
maintenance programs across multiple active project environments within a geographic territory. Serves as
the senior technical leader for regional support crews, ensuring portable mix plants and heavy haul vehicles
operate safely and efficiently to support continuous production.

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Travels dynamically across all active temporary plant deployments and delivery zones within the designated
    territory to oversee complex repairs, audit routine PM cycles, and support emergency field alerts.
  • Directs the maintenance strategies and overhaul schedules for both central wet drums (tilt systems, drum
    liners) and dry transit setups (weigh hoppers, pneumatics, air compressors, screw conveyors).
  • Enforces ultimate field safety adherence for the maintenance division, ensuring all direct reports utilize mandatory fall
    protection, execute strict multi-point LOTO protocols, and implement EPA-compliant fluid containment units.
  • Ensures all preventative maintenance keeps plant aggregate gates, conveyor belts, and ready-mix drum
    blades in optimal condition, directly preventing material cross-contamination and batching tolerance drift.
  • Drives fleet parts efficiency and extends asset operating lifecycles through meticulous greasing schedules
    and gear-drive maintenance, minimizing costly replacement part spending and transit breakdowns.
  • Ensures fleet and plant uptime so that maintenance issues or vehicle breakdowns never block active client
    placement avenues, paving paths, or haul routing lanes.
  • Receives, reviews, and manages the parts consumption registries, equipment inspection checklists, and
    technical work orders submitted by regional technicians.
  • Acts as the direct supervisor for the region's support group, with all Batch Plant Maintenanc
  • Technicians and RMX Truck Mechanics reporting directly to this position.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR


Education: High school diploma
Required Work Experience: 2-3 years maintenance experience with industrial capabilities. Experience
preparing plans for preventative maintenance, managing people and keeping accurate records. Experience with RMX plants and trucks preferred
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, SAP, Salesforce, Qlikview
Travel Requirements: 90%

 

Additional Requirements:

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal
  Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law,
  employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal
  meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
