ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize, a leading supplier of quality construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Production Supervisor to support operations within our aggregate product line. This role is responsible for leading daily plant operations, ensuring safe and efficient production, maintaining strict quality standards, and driving team performance to achieve operational objectives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing processes, improving productivity, and supporting a strong safety and performance-driven work environment.


WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Lead and oversee daily aggregate plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production team members to drive performance and accountability
  • Enforce all safety policies and regulatory compliance to maintain a zero-incident work environment
  • Monitor production processes and adjust operations to meet quality and output targets
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime
  • Analyze production data and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure product quality meets company and industry specifications through regular inspections
  • Manage shift scheduling, staffing levels, and workflow planning to meet business demands
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and management
  • Maintain accurate production reports, logs, and documentation
  • Promote a high-performance work environment focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE 'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • Field of Study Preferred: Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline
  • Required Work Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in aggregate production, quarry operations, or heavy industrial manufacturing required
  • Travel Requirements: 25- 50%
  • Extensive experience in aggregate, quarry, or heavy industrial production environments with progressive leadership responsibility
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on knowledge of heavy equipment, plant machinery, and maintenance coordination
  • Proven ability to supervise plant operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and consistent production performance
  • Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams in fast-paced production settings
  • In-depth understanding of aggregate production processes, material flow, crushing and screening operations, and equipment functionality
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, MSHA compliance standards, and industry best practices
  • Ability to analyze production data, identify trends, and implement effective operational improvements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and align teams toward production goals
  • Experience working closely with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability, uptime, and preventive maintenance execution
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to respond effectively to operational challenges
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding production, quality, and efficiency targets
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment


Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
