Were seeking a Shipping Coordinator who's ready to be part of an innovative, people-first brand shaping the future of the roofing industry.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE
The shipping coordinator works with the Shipping and Warehouse teams to coordinate logistics for the Duro-Last site
to deliver products to the customer in the timeframe required. This role will be responsible for arranging freight,
managing bill of lading paperwork, and interacting with our customers and carriers.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Working with customer service and freight companies to deliver products that meet customer schedules.
    Computer use to work within our ERP and freight management systems.
  • Complete bill of lading paperwork accurately and organizing completed paperwork in an easily accessible way.
  • Help investigate customer concerns related to damaged or missing items.
  • Handle logistics related calls
  • Operate the security entry system when drivers arrive for pickup.
  • Work with their peers on continuous improvement initiatives to improve customer service and reduce costs.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental
    policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

Education: High School or equivalent
Additional Education Preferred: Associate Degree in any field
Field of Study Preferred: Logistics experience is a plus
Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills. Experience with Amrize related systems is a plus.
Travel Requirements: Travel is exceptionally rare for this role. Any travel would be specifically related to individual
or department growth in this role.

 

Additional Requirements: 

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork abiltiy as this role interacts with other coordinators, employees in the 525 building,
    and other departments.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks
  • An analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • The ability to work at a computer station for the majority of their shift
  • The ability to periodically walk the shop floor to deliver paperwork, converse with teammates, or investigate
    issues.
