Starting Hourly Wage: $33.00

 

  

ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary responsibility of this position consists of monitoring and adjusting production processes and equipment to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Comply with All Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Regular attendance, timeliness, some travel, and scheduling flexibility
  • Continuously watch and adjust automated process equipment to ensure optimal product quality and output.
  • Diagnose and fix equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and assist in implementing process improvements to prevent future problems.
  • Adhere to safety rules and regulations, conduct quality control inspections, and ensure compliance with all standards and protocols.
  • Record and analyze production data, document process performance, and prepare detailed reports for management and engineers.
  • Work with engineers, quality control teams, and other personnel to implement process improvements. They may also train new hires on proper equipment operation and safety procedures.
  • Set up and adjust process controls and machinery to meet customer and company specifications.
  • Identify areas for improvement in production workflows to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Examine the product for defects and correct them.
  • Measure the product to ensure it is within specifications
  • Notify Management/Supervisor/Quality of any safety, quality, or equipment issues.
  • Complete reports, monitor running conditions, and assist with troubleshooting issues.
     

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • A.A.S. in Process Technology, focusing on manufacturing, or 10 years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Technical proficiency with process control systems
  • Strong communication and reporting abilities
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and interpret drawings
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
  • Work an eight-hour-plus shift.
  • Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and cloud-based software.

 

Additional Requirements: 

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
