ABOUT THE ROLE
As a key strategic leader at the Bath Cement Plant, the Preventive and Reliability Maintenance Coordinator spearheads the transition from reactive to world-class proactive maintenance. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing a comprehensive, high-performance asset reliability and predictive maintenance (PdM) strategy. By championing Industry 4.0 technologies, advanced data analytics, and a defect-elimination culture, this role maximizes the safety, availability, and lifecycle value of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation assets across the plant.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Reliability Leadership: Design and execute a world-class asset reliability strategy to continuously optimize plant equipment availability, efficiency, and performance.
- Defect Elimination & RCFA: Lead defect elimination initiatives, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), FMEA, and Pareto analyses to achieve and exceed MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and NAI (Net Asset Integration) targets.
- Predictive Maintenance (PdM): Oversee and continuously optimize advanced predictive and preventive maintenance programs, integrating vibration analysis, lubrication excellence, and thermography.
- Work Cycle & Shutdown Strategy: Drive the effectiveness of the 13-week master maintenance schedule, major shutdown/turnaround planning, and daily execution workflows.
- Modern Telemetry Integration: Leverage advanced condition monitoring telemetry, IoT sensors, and predictive algorithms to anticipate failures and optimize maintenance intervals.
- Critical Spares & Contingency: Develop and manage critical spare parts strategies, safety stock targets, and contingency plans for high-risk assets.
- SAP/CMMS Optimization: Champion the digitization of maintenance records, ensuring accurate master equipment data, specification files, and history tracking in SAP.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner closely with production and process departments to coordinate maintenance windows and integrate first-level operator inspections.
- Budgeting & Capital Justification: Build and justify data-driven annual maintenance budgets based on asset criticality, condition data, and equipment lifecycle history.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
