ABOUT THE ROLE 
The District Sales Coordinator will be responsible for effective collaboration with the General Manager, Market Managers, Operation Managers, Customer Service Representatives, Quality Assurance Department and Credit Department as it relates to all customer focused activities including: project setup, quotes, products, pricing, ticket exceptions, profitability analysis, market intelligence, invoicing, reporting and analysis across the Cement business in the WCAN Region.


WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Health and Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.  Ensure all aspects of their role are executed in a safe manner.  Demonstrate an understanding of safety guidelines at Amrize operations. 
  • Sales & Marketing Business Cycle: Timely processing and resolution of billing, including exceptions/errors on a daily basis.  Coordinate all sales activities including: project identification and tracking, customer performance, residential market review, daily sales reporting.
  • Systems & Processes: Administrative support and direct user for Salesforce for Cement business unit.
  • Administration and Billing: Answer phone calls and correspondence, maintain files and databases, prepare reports, and review billing.
  • Value Added Products (VAP): Help customers obtain cement information and strengthen customer relations through value added marketing and branded products to make company supplier of choice.  Promote and facilitate special product sales with product specialists.
  • Customer Orientation: Assist Market Managers in the acquisition/set up, and management of accounts, CODs. Collaborate in the collection of customer quotations and project information.
  • Cash on Delivery (CODs): private purchases, one time orders, credit/debit purchases on demand). Cash reconciliation each day. Track sheet for COD orders as per ABS, Customer receipts, tickets, refunds, etc.
  • Credit - Support: GET PAID system to track payments. Direct A to review progress on payments. Help collect and reconcile issues on account
  • Reporting: Prepare key reports for weekly and monthly sales meetings.  Prepare additional Sales reports as requested, including job tracking, quote tracking, and progress of Sales activities.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Work with Sales team to create accurate and efficient work on hand/forecasting sheet.  Maintain sales/product tracking systems.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma. 
Field of Study Preferred: Business, Construction, or a related field. 
Required Work Experience: 1-3 years of related office experience, preferably in a sales environment. 
Required Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite. Experience with SAP and Salesforce would be an asset. 
Travel Requirements: 10-20%

  • Possess a general knowledge of construction and A&C products and a solid understanding of the market, competition and business opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications - ability to write and speak succinctly in a variety of settings and styles.
  • Must be timely with sharing information and provide the information people need to get things done and make decisions.
  • Must have strong people skills and relate well to all types of people inside and outside organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and the desire to seek solutions.
  • Possess a commitment to and willingness to devote great effort and time in order to reach goals.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
