ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a fast-paced Enterprise Communications team that supports our 19,000+ teammates and teams at more than 1,000 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada as we connect, inform and engage employees. This role is for a strong communicator who is comfortable leaning into technology as we create and share engaging, easy-to-understand deliverables. This role helps in our efforts to build our culture, communicate complex business strategies and navigate change management. Our ideal new teammate is a self-starter and great collaborator.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

As part of our team, the Enterprise Communication Specialist will help advance key internal communications initiatives, including:

  • Content Management: Lay out and distribute daily content across the company intranet, employee app, and email platform.
  • Visual Storytelling: Design graphics and short-form videos to make digital communication channels more dynamic and engaging - both for internal and external communications
  • Audience Engagement: Create easy-to-understand internal communications deliverables tailored to various diverse internal audiences.
  • Culture & Change: Support major culture-building efforts and critical change management initiatives through coordinated communications channels.
  • Tech Optimization: Leverage modern technology tools—including AI and best-in-class internal communications platforms—to continuously find new ways to share content and improve operational efficiency.
  • Safety Leadership: Demonstrate a commitment to communicating and improving our health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or equivalent professional experience.
Required Work Experience: 2–5 years of experience performing specific related internal or corporate communications responsibilities.
Required Technical Skills: Proficient with intranet and employee app content management systems
(LumApps heavily preferred), email marketing platforms (Poppulo heavily preferred) and AI tools (Gemini).
Preferred: Proficient in creating graphics and short videos using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Travel Requirements: Some travel required (10-20% for annual team meetings or site visits).

  • Quick Study: Eager to rapidly learn a large, complex business structure and organizational culture.
  • Strong Collaborator: Willing to proactively initiate conversations with stakeholders across the business.
  • Agile & Nimble: Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment and making adjustments as needed.
  • Self-Starter: Be proactive in problem-solving and possess strong time management skills.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
