ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Senior Expert - Reporting and Analytics to support SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere reporting solutions. This highly visible role will serve as a technical and analytical partner to Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) management reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) remediation efforts. The individual will combine strong technical expertise with a growing understanding of the company’s financial processes, performance drivers, and reporting requirements to develop, support, explain, and train users on scalable reporting and analytics solutions. The role will interact with teams throughout North America. The role will be based in our Chicago office and may work in a hybrid arrangement.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and grid-style reports in SAP Analytics Cloud, including solutions supporting Corporate FP&A and CFO management reporting
- Implement scripting, where necessary, to provide a clean and crisp user experience for the aforementioned deliverables in SAP Analytics Cloud
- Partner with Corporate FP&A and Finance leadership to translate planning, forecasting, performance management, and executive reporting needs into scalable technical solutions
- Develop strong business and financial acumen to interpret results, explain data and calculation logic, and identify the drivers of financial performance across North America
- Serve as SME for the SAP Analytics Cloud platform
- Communicate data modeling and data schema requirements to the Datasphere (formerly Data Warehouse Cloud) developers and other support team members
- Stay up to date on changes and updates in the SAP Analytics Cloud software via: following the SAP Product Roadmap and attending trainings, seminars, and other offerings by SAP as necessary.
- Understand and validate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), financial statements, variance analyses, and other company metrics; clearly explain calculations, data sources, and reporting results to stakeholders
- Support SOX remediation and compliance reporting through controlled solution development, documentation, testing, issue resolution, and retention of appropriate validation and approval evidence
- Validate and reconcile management reporting to governed financial sources; investigate discrepancies and ensure solutions are accurate, timely, performant, scalable, and reliable
- Provide ongoing support, release validation, user guidance, and training so Finance stakeholders can confidently use and interpret reporting solutions

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree or 8 to 10 years of equivalent experience.
Field of Study Preferred: Information Technology, Analytics, Data, Finance/Accounting, or related field of study
Required Work Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience
Required Computer and Software Skills: Experience in any number of the following tools (understanding that Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud are the tools that our team actively uses). Since the popularity of certain BI and Data Warehousing solutions changes over time, and all BI and Data Warehousing tools are conceptually similar, training will be offered as necessary should the applicant have general experience in BI and Data but not SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere specifically.
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Datasphere (DSP), SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SQL, Python, Scripting, APIs, JSON, OData connections, SAP HANA Databases, etc.
Travel Requirements: Minimum, Quarterly team meetings in Nashville, Toronto, Dundee, Calgary, or other central company office
Additional Requirements:
- Highly visible senior role requiring independence, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate complex technical and financial concepts clearly to senior Finance stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of business intelligence, data warehousing, SQL, Python, extract-transform-load/extract-load-transform (ETL/ELT), scripting, and related best practices
- Experience with Datasphere, SAP Business Warehouse on HANA, third-party data sources, or other data warehousing platforms; knowledge of FP&A, management reporting, financial statements, variance analysis, forecasting, and financial KPIs is preferred
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
