ABOUT THE ROLE
The Electrical Reliability Planner is responsible for improving the reliability, availability, and performance of plant electrical assets through effective planning, scheduling, inspection, condition monitoring, and maintenance optimization activities. This position develops and manages preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for electrical equipment, ensuring maintenance resources, materials, and third-party services are planned and executed safely, efficiently, and cost effectively. The role supports continuous improvement of equipment reliability and maintenance performance through SAP PM management, condition-based maintenance, root cause analysis, shutdown planning, and reliability-centered maintenance practices. The Electrical Reliability Planner works closely with Operations, Mechanical, Project, Procurement, and contractors to achieve plant safety, reliability, availability, and cost objectives while following the Amrize Integrated Maintenance (AIM), Maintenance Management System (MAC), and corporate maintenance standards.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Manage the SAP PM master data, creating the bill of materials (BOM), contribute to critical spare parts identification and definition of Material requirements planning (MRP).
- Review notifications, workload, define needs of third party services.
- Plan, review and optimize in SAP PM and Document Management System (DMS) all the PM01 corrective and PM02 preventive routines establishing tasks, frequencies, workload balancing. Optimize and distribute the workload in a 48 week span.
- Prioritize and generate preventive and corrective maintenance orders based on the results of monitoring. Prioritize with other departments preventive and corrective maintenance orders.
- Schedule weekly and daily maintenance plans, 13 weeks master plan and major shutdowns.
- Consolidate the details of major repairs. Lead the meetings for major shutdowns and their After Action Reviews.
- Generate and follow up purchase requests for materials, spare and wear parts, ensuring just in time delivery and optimization of NWC.
- Tracks the purchase requests and services of major shutdown/repairs and ensures their on-time arrival.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the condition of all plant electrical equipment on a continuous basis.
- Ensure the planned inspection of all plant electrical equipment and initiate work orders based on inspection results.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
Field of Study Preferred: Electrical Engineering.
Required Work Experience: 5 years of experience dealing with maintenance or production. 2 years of experience with definition and implementation of preventative maintenance programs and routines. Experience in heavy industry preferred.
Required Training/Certifications: Maintenance Planner Certification preferred.
Required Technical Skills: Experience with MS Suite, Google Suite, SAP, TIS, PACT.
Travel Requirements: 10%

- Flexibility with working hours and required to be part of the on-call rotation.
- Ability to manage stress, to provide assistance and to encourage the maintenance team in critical situations.
- Organize Major Electrical Maintenance Turnaround and Shutdown inspection schedules.
- Monitor and coordinate condition predictors, for all critical equipment.
- Validate and update equipment specification files as well as history files.
- Evaluate and improve the preventive maintenance electrical job plans & create and update electrical inspection job plans.
- Ensure systematic review, application and optimization of motor lubrication programs.
- Propose economic ways to extend the life of plant electrical equipment.
- Prepares, follows up and contributes to the optimisation of the yearly condition monitoring schedule based on inputs and history from the executed work orders.
- Administrates work order system by generating notifications, closing condition monitoring work orders and recording database and trends.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
