ABOUT THE ROLE 
Amrize has an immediate opening for a Crusher Operator to join our team in Fort McMurray. The Ideal candidate should comfortably be operating a crusher and other types of heavy equipment. 
 

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Perform various types of manual labor, including shoveling spillage, handling materials, tools, and equipment, to support crusher operations.
  • Operate crushing equipment and, when required, drive automotive vehicles in compliance with site and safety regulations.
  • Seek out and apply operational Best Practices to optimize productivity and efficiency across work processes.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate issues related to product quality or operational performance.
  • Support teamwork and personnel development by fostering a collaborative work environment and assisting in conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all training and procedural requirements while actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment through regular housekeeping and proactive hazard control.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
     

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent 
Required Training/Certifications: N/A
Required Work Experience: Experience working with gravel processing jaws, cones, and screens. Experience with rubber tired loaders and excavators is an asset.

  • Managerial CourageWork flexible hours, including shift work and weekends, as required year-round in Industrial Oil Sands sites (RMWB).
  • All employees must be willing to work out of doors in all types of weather
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
