ABOUT THE ROLE
The Administrative Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by serving as the operational backbone for our operations, marine and sales functions. In this position, under direct supervision, you will provide and variety of support services to our organizational units. You will manage phone communications, oversee pricing and quote administration, support local staff and foster strong relationships with clients and industry specifiers.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Prioritizes work to ensure that Operating Managers are provided all relevant business information with accuracy and timeliness to be able to positively impact the business.

Generate and process sales quotes in Salesforce for sales representatives and customers, evaluating volume and product mix to recommend appropriate discount structures. Distribute quotes if required.

Communicate daily sales projections to plant operations to align production with real-time customer demand.

Act as the central liaison between sales, production, and billing to resolve operational bottlenecks before they impact the customer. Corrects customer invoices and issues credit and rebills as needed

Types memos, edits and proofreads correspondence, forms and reports. Copies, routes and distributes correspondence and reports as requested. Files and retrieves documents, records and reports. Maintains records and management systems.

Assembles relevant data and compiles information such as budget files as directed to meet deadlines.

Communicate daily sales projections to plant operations to align production with real-time customer demand.

Serve as the gatekeeper for pricing authorities, ensuring accurate quote distribution to clients and compliance with internal margin guidelines. Works closely with billing and credit departments to resolve customer invoicing issues, to include issuing credits and rebills as needed.

Answers telephone and screen calls, schedules meetings and appointments. May open and distribute mail.
- Performs general office duties such as ordering supplies, processing purchase orders, updating department phone lists, etc.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent or 2 years of equivalent experience
Required Work Experience: 2–4 years of combined experience in office administration and sales operations (manufacturing, aggregate industry knowledge or production support experience preferred)
Required Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities for logging and forecasting is required; working experience with cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as Sales Force (quoting/pipeline) preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales coordination, logistics, or sales operations (manufacturing, building materials, or heavy industry background preferred).
- Negotiation & Math: Strong analytical skills with proven experience negotiating freight or vendor rates.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for managing internal plant teams, field sales, and external customers via phone.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage tight deadlines for public sector bid preparations and accurate quote generation.
- Demonstrable troubleshooting skills and ability to multi-task, and provide support to organization as needed
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
