ABOUT THE ROLE

 

As we continue to look for more sustainable ways to build, we need world-class talent to join our team. We are seeking a Project Manager Intern for Summer 2027 who is passionate about sustainability, driven by curiosity and keen to grow, learn, develop and thrive in our high-performance culture. This opportunity will be a 10-week, paid internship beginning June 1, 2027.

 

This internship opportunity will be primarily based out of Hubbard, TX, with the opportunity to visit other work sites in surrounding areas. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Work directly with the Amrize Major Projects and Project Management Teams to support seamless project execution, specifically focusing on the site preparation, mobilization, and demobilization of portable RMX batch plants.

  • Track project deliverables and installed quantities by monitoring daily RMX production volumes, batch cycle efficiencies, and concrete yield.

  • Assist with coordinating and communicating with project stakeholders at various levels to manage just-in-time raw material logistics (aggregates, cement, fly ash, and admixtures) and mixer truck routing for continuous pours.

  • Maintain and organize project documentation and records, including daily batching logs, quality control testing (slump, air content, and compressive strength), plant calibration records, and environmental compliance data.

  • Support day-to-day project management activities at the portable plant to ensure production timelines, equipment maintenance schedules, and overall project goals are met

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Concrete Industry Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field. 
  • Strong academic performance.
  • Geographic flexibility.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
  • Team oriented and able to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Willing to spend time out in the field getting to know the business first hand.


SCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT

  • This is an onsite role; the intern will be expected to be onsite Monday - Friday and work an 8-hour shift (40 hours per week is mandatory). 

  • This position will require working either at the nearest office, project office or site, and potential travel time to and from different projects depending on project location. 

  • You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from your worksite for the summer. 

  • Throughout the duration of your internship, you may be required to travel for site tours, shadow experiences, or intern events.
