ABOUT THE ROLE
Work within the team to support other Category Managers, sharing expertise and incorporating knowledge from areas needing strengthening to complement the cohesiveness among the full team. NPTC certification.
This position can be located in: Nashville, TN, Chicago, IL. and Plano, TX Offices
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Review and update specs for the bodies of the On Hwy vehicles, Ready-Mix, Dump trucks,
Mechanics Trucks, etc. Ensure Regional Category Specialist has information correctly loaded into TCO
Analysis tool. 3-year RFP Cycle coinciding with the chassis - Develop state by state DOT Regulations ensuring proper specs per U.S. Region and Canadian
Province - Develop and communicate EPA Regulations and their pending impacts (2027 and 2030)
- Analyze and determine third party haul versus converting to internal haul for potential savings.
- Develop Trailer needs and specs
- Telematics
- Determine proper ELD’s to include Pre-Trip/Post-Trip capabilities, GPS.
- Driver coaching events, safety-suite, analytics for idle time, hard braking, quick steering, exterior and
driver-facing cameras. - Must be compatible with upcoming CMMS
- Tires
- Assist in RFPs, reduce skus for both TBR and OTR, develop relationships with National Account
Managers and local dealers, measure by cost of tread depth per hour/mile to show true TCO, support
retreading strategies where applicable. - Local Contracts, work with regional procurement to establish contracts for dealers and service providers. Eliminate unfavorable contracts. Ensure alignment with National Account authorized contracts.
- Establish pricing, terms, and conditions transparency.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree
Required Work Experience: 3–5 years in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations, specifically with Class 5-8 heavy-duty equipment.
Field of Study Preferred: Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
Required Training/Certifications: Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or equival
Required Computer and Software Skills: Google Suite of Products, Microsoft Office Products
Travel Requirements: 20% Overnight Travel required
Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
