ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize is seeking a highly skilled and personable Technical Coordinator to join our Elevate Team. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between complex roofing and building systems and our valued customers. You will be responsible for ensuring technical accuracy across project assemblies, reviewing warranty-critical documentation, and providing world-class education to sales representatives and teammates. The ideal candidate will work out of our Nashville HQ or reside within the Northeast territory.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Technical Education: Educate customers, sales representatives, and teammates on how to apply Elevate products per strict product specifications.
  • Technical Review: Perform detailed technical reviews of Pre-Installation Notices (PINs) to determine suitability for the type and length of warranty requested.
  • Deviation Management: Review technical deviation requests and make acceptance determinations based on system performance requirements and site-specific conditions.
  • Project Documentation: Generate project assembly letters defining specific system requirements.
  • Standards Improvement: Provide expert input on company literature, specs, and construction details to ensure accurate information is available to the market.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong customer relationships and inspire customer confidence through technical mastery.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow corporate policies, division protocols, and all applicable governmental safety regulations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Technical Expertise:

Candidates must possess strong technical expertise (or a high aptitude to learn) in the following systems:

  • Single-Ply Roofing: EPDM, TPO, PVC.
  • Asphalt Roofing: SBS, APP, BUR.
  • Metal Systems: Standing Seam Roofs.
  • Roofing Coatings: Silicone and Acrylic Roof Coatings.
  • Urethane Systems: P.U.F. Roofing, Wall Foam.
  • Garden Roofing: Built-in-place and Modular systems.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be personable, professional, and maintain a high level of integrity.
  • Strong customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to "think outside the box" to solve complex construction challenges.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills. Intermediate computer skills: Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and ability to train on internal systems.
  • Travel: Ability to travel overnight 10% to 15% of the time by air or car.
  • License: Must possess a current, valid driver’s license.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours with minimum notification when necessary
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
  • Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
