ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Warranty Manager for National Accounts, you will serve as a critical bridge between our high-value clients and our internal operations. You are responsible for ensuring that our most significant partners receive elite-level support while strictly safeguarding the company’s financial health. This role requires a unique blend of analytical fiscal discipline, high-stakes diplomacy, and a passion for developing top-tier talent.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
National Accounts & Financial Stewardship
- National Account Support: Partner closely with National Accounts Reps to provide priority insights on major leak claims, resolve high-stakes owner issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Fiscal Responsibility: Justify every warranty expenditure and repair cost to protect the company’s bottom line.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor warranty trends and claim frequencies to identify potential quality issues early, minimizing long-term financial exposure.
Process & Strategy
- Operational Excellence: Establish and refine policies for Warranty Coordinators to ensure a "frictionless" claims workflow.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in current leak-reporting procedures and leverage automation to improve speed and data accuracy.
- New Business Integration: Learn the technical components of newly acquired businesses (warranty terms, systems, technology) and integrate their claims history into Amrize operating systems.
Strategic Operations
- Intermediary Leadership: Serve as the primary intermediary between the front-line team and the Department Director, translating high-level strategy into daily execution.
- Conflict Resolution: Drive innovative problem-resolution strategies for complex claims that fall outside standard operating procedures.
Team Leadership & Development
- Talent Management: Hire, train, and evaluate a high-performing team of Claims
- Processors and Coordinators; take corrective actions to maintain Amrize standards.
- Growth: Facilitate ongoing employee development and act as a primary intermediary for the Department Director.
- Conflict Resolution: Drive problem-resolution strategies for disputed claims or denied leak coverage.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience within the industry.
- Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of related experience.
- Minimum 3 years of direct management or leadership experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to navigate multiple complex applications.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional critical thinking, coaching, and verbal/written communication skills.
- The Plus Factor: Prior experience in Roofing Leak Remediation or High-Volume Warranty Claims Processing is highly preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
- Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
