We’re seeking a Warehouse Lead who’s ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for the efficient use of the organization’s storage facilities. Activities include but not limited to: forecasting anticipated materials requirements, ensuring the timely flow of materials to the plant and managing materials inventory.

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Loading and offloading materials.
  • Data entry into warehouse management system (SAP).
  • Verifying that all daily inbound and outbound inventory numbers reflect SAP, daily inventory Balancing and Reconciliation.
  • Maintain filing/records
  • Ensure orders are picked adhering to FIFO process.
  • Maintain raw materials and packaging storage areas.
  • Maintain finished goods area.
  • Ensure timely completion of cycle counts; initiate Cycle Counts and execute through partnership with shift supervisor.
  • Submit completed cycle counts to Manager for review; track and report trends/progress.
  • Ensure DC warehouses have adequate inventory levels and complete stock transfers in the SAP system.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and errors for tracking and coaching; publish.
    KPI's/breakdown of inventory accuracy/errors and provide resolutions to DC Manager.
  • Work closely with support staff such as Manufacturing, Planning, and others to alleviate and resolve all inventory discrepancies.
  • Draft/create fitting standards/SOP’s to alleviate gaps.
  • Perform departmental audits to ensure that company best practices are being followed. Examples include that teammates are picking and putting away inventory according to
    current footprint/layout.
  • Supports completion of Physical Inventory Annually, cycle counts monthly.
  • Cross train to fill all Warehouse rolls and responsibilities.
  • Perform weekly non inventory counts for procurement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High school diploma or GED.
Required Work Experience: At least 2 years experience working in warehouse, distribution center, logistics/transportation field

  • Experience in customer service
  • Familiarity with logistics/TMS software
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Forklift Certified
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer and analytical skills and experience working with SAP desired
  • Experience with Excel and word processing.
  • Ability to work well in teams and work with and train teammates.
  • Strong leadership skills with previous experience in a supervisory role.
  • Safety Must be number 1!

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
