ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for determining short and long-range goals and objectives for assigned units, ensuring assigned projects or deadlines are accomplished or met, and working with the GM in meeting division goals and objectives. Management activities include the development and implementation of plant policies and procedures aligned to Company goals and objectives, enforcement of company policies and procedures, the preparation of budgets, coordination of work unit programs, and coaching, development and discipline of team members.

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Ensures the goals and objectives established by the Department head are communicated to team
    members
  • Establishes plant policies and procedures that support the overall mission of the product line and
    Company and ensures compliance.
  • Works in conjunction with Operations Managers to track performance against established objectives and takes immediate corrective action to assure goals are realized.
  • Identifies process improvements and makes recommendations to the Department Heads.
  • Builds constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers, and is committed to meeting customer needs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and
    environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent 3 year
Field of Study Preferred: Construction technology, business, economics, public administration or related field. Other combinations of education and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Required Work Experience: 3-5 years , Five years supervisory and two years multi-site management
experience desired. Three years of maintenance management experience

Travel Requirements: extensive travel, sometimes on poor road conditions and in adverse weather
conditions

 

Additional Requirements:  

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved
    Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicablelaw, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
