ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the replenishment of raw materials and the transport of material to appropriate storage locations.
The shift for this position is: M-F 5am-1:30pm and the pay rate is $33.51 per hour.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Operate forklifts in a safe manner observing all company policies.

Identify material classifications including prime, rework and scrap.

Communicate with and fill in for Packagers as needed.

Complete production paperwork as applicable (verify daily production).

Maintain a clean and safe environment.

Follow written and verbal instruction.

Unload raw materials from trucks in Production area.

Follow storage bay location procedures.
-
Build pallets according to standard for product.

Know and follow proper procedures for packaging of materials.

Follow FIFO system when retrieving raw materials.

Follow quality requirements of not shipping damaged product to customers.

Participate in cycle counts.

Perform waste disposal per work instructions

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Required Work Experience:
- Must have experience using regular forklifts, roofing forks and carpet pole lifts.
- Knowledge of environmental policies and work instructions related to job
Additional Requirements:
- Be able to work overtime on short notice.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests. for union, part-time or contract roles.
