ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Portable Plant Foreman to lead our rock crushing and screening operations. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of a mobile crushing plant and a crew of 3-4 team members.

This position is ideal for a candidate who consistently meets production targets and is ready to grow in personnel and equipment management. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership potential, a strong commitment to safety, and solid technical expertise. As theprimary on-site liaison with management and clients, this role offers a clear path toward becoming an independent and highly effective supervisor.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Lead daily operations of a portable crushing and screening plant.
  • Supervise, direct, and support a crew of 3-4 team members.
  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
  • Coordinate equipment operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
  • Serve as the main on-site contact for management, clients, and field personnel.
  • Monitor job progress and adjust work plans to maintain efficiency.
  • Promote a safe, productive, and respectful work environment.
  • Assist with training and development of crew members.
  • Communicate operational needs, issues, and progress reports clearly and promptly.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Must have experience in mobile plant set up and tear down.
  • Experience in rock crushing, screening, or related aggregate operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and willingness to grow into a stronger supervisory role.
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to following company and regulatory standards.
  • Technical knowledge of portable plant equipment and operations.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
