As we continue to look for more sustainable ways to build, we need world-class talent to join our
team. We are seeking a Process Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 who are passionate about
sustainability, driven by curiosity and keen to grow, learn, develop and thrive in our high-
performance culture. This opportunity will be a paid internship
beginning in June of 2026 and running through August. The offered pay is $22 per hour and
the schedule will be Monday through Friday 7am-3pm.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Assist Engineering and R&D to launch new products on new equipment, using our NPD
(New Product Development) process. - Evaluate raw materials to ensure no process upsets while running material in our
equipment. - Collaborate with Operations, R&D and other relevant departments to ensure that project
critical objectives are completed in a timely manner. - Evaluate extrusion equipment to make data-driven decisions to improve operation.
- Lead a process improvement project, from idea creation to implementation, using the
PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) framework. - Audit documentation to ensure the process is operating as recommended. Make
recommendations, if needed. - Conclude your internship with a presentation to executive leadership, showcasing
your learnings and contributions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in
Engineering (all disciplines are encouraged to apply, preferably Chemical & Industrial) - Strong academic performance.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
- Able to analyze data in order to make relevant project decisions.
- Team oriented and able to work with all levels of the organization.
- Willing to spend time out in the field getting to know the business firsthand.
SCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT
- This is an onsite role; the intern will be expected to be onsite Monday - Friday and work
an 8-hour shift (40 hours per week is mandatory). - Ideal schedule would be 7:00 am to 3:00 pm local time, with an occasional change
based on work being performed. Any schedule change will be discussed and agreed
upon prior to the change being needed. - In this intern position, you will be expected to work both in an office environment as well
as on the plant floor, interacting with teammates in the engineering, R&D, operations,
maintenance and quality departments. - You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from your worksite for the
summer. - Throughout the duration of your internship, you may be required to travel for site tours,
shadow experiences, or intern events.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift up to 50 lb
Be on your feet for up to 8 hrs a day.
