ABOUT THE ROLE 
The Pipe & Precast Project Support role reports to the Sales Manager of Pipe and Precast Chilliwack and supports the team’s commitment to safety excellence and delivering industry-leading service and solutions. This role focuses on strengthening customer relationships and driving local growth of sustainable products through active engagement with customers and stakeholders, using Salesforce CRM as a core tool.


Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Pipe & Precast Project Support role supports the Commercial Sales Team by gathering and organizing project information, reviewing basic construction documents, compiling bid packages, and capturing market data. This position plays a key role in improving sales effectiveness and advancing eco-source product offerings. The ideal candidate is dynamic, results-driven, experienced in sales, proficient with Salesforce CRM, and passionate about environmentally responsible solutions.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Support commercial team in day to day administration of project requirements
  • Ensure on time delivery of project requirements via ongoing collaboration and communication with all relevant departments and stakeholders 
  • Organize and maintain project documents on cloud platforms
  • Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to gather, analyze, and interpret market data.
  • Aide in the integration of various digital platforms applicable to commercial, quality, shipping, and production teams
  • Record customer information, pricing details, and project forecasts in Salesforce. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive intelligence.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Business Management degree/diploma (preferred)
Field of Study Preferred: Business, Engineering, HR, or related field. 
Required Work Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience.
Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its applications in optimizing sales process an advantage.
Travel Requirements: 0-10%

  • High level of precision and attention to detail. 
  • Eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to seeking information. 
  • Self-motivated individual capable of rapidly establishing and sustaining positive working relationships.
  • Proven experience in sales an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through initiative and resourcefulness. 
  • Strong Analytical skills to respond to requested changes and identify customizations.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven capacity to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. 
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
