ABOUT THE ROLE
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of plant activities by coordinating procurement, purchasing, inventory, financial administration, and operational support processes. The position is responsible for managing purchase requisitions, supporting vendor relationships, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring materials, services, and equipment are available to support operational requirements. Through effective coordination across multiple departments and systems, this role contributes to operational efficiency, cost control, data integrity, and informed decision-making while supporting a safe and productive work environment.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Support efficient plant operations through accurate procurement, administrative, financial, and operational coordination.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor-related transactions.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, operational, and financial records across multiple systems.
- Support vendor relationships and procurement activities to ensure materials, services, and equipment are available when needed.
- Assist Plant Management with reporting, cost tracking, labor tracking, forecasting, and operational administration.
- Coordinate communication and workflow between operations, accounting, vendors, and service providers to support business objectives.
- Support inventory management and production tracking to help maintain operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance procurement effectiveness, administrative efficiency, and cost control.
- Provide dependable operational and administrative support that contributes to overall plant performance and customer satisfaction.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred.
Required Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in office administration, logistics, procurement, or similar role preferred.
Required Training/Certifications: WHMIS
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Workspace, SAP, Ariba, and/or BFS (asset)Travel Requirements: <10%
Additional Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Procurement and inventory systems understanding
- Strong data entry, documentation, and reporting accuracy
- Awareness of interprovincial transportation and freight regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners
- Comfortable working with administrative systems and data-driven processes
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all safety procedures
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
