ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior International Tax Analyst plays a key role in managing a multinational corporation's global tax compliance, reporting, and strategic planning.

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Prepare and review complex U.S. international tax compliance calculations, workpapers, and disclosures, including GILTI, FDII, and BEAT.
  • Assist in preparing U.S. foreign information reporting filings, including Forms 5471, 8865, and 8990 series.
  • Support quarterly and annual tax provision processes (ASC 740) related to international tax positions.
  • Assist in the data collection, modeling, calculation, and reporting requirements for OECD Pillar Two Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) rules.
  • Monitor global regulatory changes, evaluating impacts on the company’s global effective tax rate and operational compliance.
  • Assist with transfer pricing calculations, intercompany transaction tracking, and the preparation/maintenance of global Master and Local files.
  • Collaborate with local finance leads and external advisors across North America and Switzerland to manage foreign tax compliance and statutory audit requirements.
  • Assist with miscellaneous foreign tax reporting duties and global tax controversy support.
  • Serve as an operational bridge between North American tax leadership and regional tax and finance teams across overlapping time zones.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree
Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

Required Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of tax experience in a Big 4/large regional accounting firm or a multinational corporate tax department.
  • Demonstrated technical experience with U.S. outbound tax mechanics (GILTI, FDII, BEAT, FTC).
  • Direct experience with or exposure to OECD Pillar Two frameworks and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR).

Required Training/Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.

Travel Requirements: 25%

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
