Were seeking a Inventory Control who's ready to be part of an innovative, people-first brand shaping the future of the roofing industry.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE 
Duro-Last has an opening for a Inventory Control at the Dallas, Texas plant. Inventory Control’s primary
goal is to monitor inventory levels, create and maintain shop orders. They are responsible for
performing cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy. This is a full-time, hourly based position with
an additional potential safety bonus. The position will report to the Production Supervisor.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Verify all transfer documentation that is received into warehouse
  • Accurately post inventory transactions for warehouse
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve negative balances and all other inventory discrepancies
  • Perform verifications of data entered by other employees
  • Conduct month end material count and be a key player for year-end physical inventory count
  • Monitor inventory levels, order materials as needed and process all returns
  • Creating and Maintaining shop orders
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Must have at least 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory or distribution
  • Must have at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Experience with bar-coding preferred
  • Must be accurate and have a high attention to detail
  • Experience with cycle counts and year/month-end inventory
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Excellent clerical skills to include MS Excel/Word and AS-400 Mapics experience desired
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills as well as excellent math skills
  • Must be flexible with hours and able to work overtime
  • Must have or be able to obtain a forklift certification

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
