ABOUT THE ROLE
As we continue to look for more sustainable ways to build, we need world-class talent to join our team. We are seeking a Corporate Treasury & Risk Intern for Summer 2027 who is passionate about business and finance, driven by curiosity, and keen to grow, learn, develop, and thrive in our high-performance culture. This opportunity will be a 10-week, paid internship beginning June 1, 2027 based in Dundee, MI.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As a Corporate Treasury & Risk Intern, you will work closely with our corporate treasury and risk management teams, contributing to key projects and gaining exposure to liquidity management, risk assessment, capital allocation, and financial risk hedging:
- Cash Management & Liquidity: Assist in monitoring daily cash positions, analyzing bank account balances, and preparing short-term liquidity and cash flow forecasts to support operational needs.
- Risk Analysis & Assessment: Support the identification, measurement, and monitoring of corporate financial risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange, counterparty, and credit risks.
- Capital & Debt Structure Support: Assist with analyzing debt portfolios, tracking interest expenses, and evaluating options for optimal capital structure and debt management.
- Special Projects: Surety Bond capacity review, insurance collateral review and payment processing efficiency for Third-Party claim administration
- Compliance & Risk Reporting: Support the preparation of treasury documentation, risk management assessments, regulatory filings, and executive financial disclosures.
- Skill Application: Utilize a range of skills and knowledge in day-to-day operations, working collaboratively to achieve team and company goals
- Executive Presentation: At the end of your internship, you'll present your learnings and contributions to our executive leadership team.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for enthusiastic students who meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or similar field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Geographic flexibility
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- High energy and a proactive approach to tackling new challenges.
- A team player who can collaborate across different levels of the organization.
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field, gaining hands-on experience and firsthand knowledge of our business operations.
SCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT
- Work Schedule: This is an onsite role with a mandatory 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, working an 8-hour shift each day.
- Work Environment: You will be working in an office environment.
- Transportation: You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the worksite.
- Travel Requirements: You may need to travel for site tours, shadowing experiences, or intern events throughout the duration of your internship.
