ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Analyst EIT will be an integral part in providing SAP and TiS support to the plant and managing the SAP and TiS system in their location. This individual will team up with management in supporting production with Amrize’s Cement business. The Production Analyst EIT is a key leader of a cross-functional team, which is composed of Production, Maintenance and Process personnel who are responsible for problem solving, safety & housekeeping improvements and equipment optimization.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Function as a safety leader in the plant by demonstrating a personal commitment to working safely and ensuring that the Plant continues to eliminate work related risks, while strongly advocating for a safe working environment.
  • Function as an integral member of the management team focusing on plant performance and continuous improvement, working closely with process, maintenance, and technical managers.
  • Maintain master data including daily production reporting, material recipes, long term planning, resource capacity, and energy consumption factors.
  • Manage production planning, including 18-month logistics plans, and weekly/monthly conversion of planned orders to process orders.
  • Participate in annual production budget preparation, cost tracking for regular operations and outages, and work closely with management to ensure month-end financial accuracy.
  • Provide leadership and accountability for reporting accurate downtime notifications, heat factors, confirmations, and process order executions.
  • Manage process orders, monthly physical inventory balances (cement, clinker, raw meal), goods movement errors, raw material ratios, and TECO completions while validating KPIs (NAI, PRI, OEE, MTBF) per GAAP standards.
  • Lead production budget, MTP, and AMP development by entering and verifying data into SAP via BW Reports, supporting forecasting, and guiding physical inventory tracking.
  • Support raw material storage management, truck/rail logistics, and collaborate with Quality, Production, and Process departments on raw mix cost optimization and trials.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Field of Study Preferred: Engineering).
  • Required Work Experience: 1+ years’ industry experience required in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Cement Industry (other industries such as pulp/paper, steel, glass, lime, petroleum, and chemical may be considered).
  • Required Training/Certifications: Registered EIT.
  • Required Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Experience in SAP and TiS are viewed as an asset.
  • Travel Requirements: 10%.

Additional Requirements:

  • Support pyro team main activities during kiln outages, including budget preparation, third party procurement and coordination, cost tracking and supervision.
  • Manage rental equipment, radio communication equipment and temporary site services/facilities for the plant.
  • Provide Yard/Production Supervisor vacation and Production On-call coverage as required.
  • Must have strong leadership abilities and strong planning/organizing skills.
  • Team player with the ability to develop and maintain cohesive working relationships with peers and management.
  • High initiative, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written communication).
  • Able to thoroughly analyze situations or processes from different perspectives.
  • Able to independently determine discrepancies in trends or numerical data, investigate and resolve.
  • Knowledge of cement manufacturing process, materials receipt, procurement, and budgeting process preferred.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
