We’re seeking a Human Resources Business Partner who's ready to be part of our mission to manufacture and deliver innovative, performance-driven building products with unmatched service and integrity. ABOUT THE ROLE

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as the primary HR leader on-site at the new Franklin, Indiana, plant. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role that will support the successful startup, staffing, and operationalization of the plant while building strong, sustainable people practices from day one. The HRBP will partner closely with local leadership, operations, and corporate HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver HR support in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, culture-building, safety, and compliance.

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Serve as the first point of contact for plant-level HR matters, supporting employees and supervisors with day-to-day HR needs.
  • Provide hands-on leadership during plant startup, including hiring, onboarding, policy implementation, and cultural alignment.
  • Partner with COEs to ensure seamless support across shared services while maintaining accountability to the local operation.
  • Lead local onboarding and 90-day integration plans for new hires to ensure successful transitions and retention.
  • Support full-cycle recruitment, including interview coordination, post-offer screenings, and timely onboarding documentation.
  • Foster an open communication, respect, and trust environment, promoting employee engagement and problem-solving at all levels.
  • Advise plant leadership on HR-related matters, including performance, compliance, morale, retention, and succession planning.
  • Manage employee relations investigations and disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with policy and fairness.
  • Support HR initiatives, including employee training, plant meetings, culture and engagement programs, and HR policy rollouts.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree

Field of Study Preferred: business administration or human resources.

Required Work Experience: Must have 3-5 years of relevant human resources experience. Experience in employee relations and recruiting is required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Solid interpersonal, verbal/written communication, PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite), and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously are also essential.
  • Strong management skills, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple projects with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, administrative, and creative problem-solving skills are required. Able to communicate with all levels of organization in all settings (from individual to large group).
  • Must be very approachable, develop strong professional relationships, and foster involvement at all levels of the organization.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
