ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maintenance Planner and Scheduler will anticipate and eliminate potential delays by planning and coordinating maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Reviews work requests/orders for accuracy and clarity.
- Defines the work scope and estimates time, labor, equipment, and material needs, and awareness of safety concerns.
- Plans and schedules work orders through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Obtains and organizes all information required (OEM drawings, vendor manuals, special procedures, and diagrams).
- Review and process completed work orders for comments, variances, completeness, and accuracy.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, and annual activity reports.
- Prepares requisitions in the CMMS to ensure materials, parts, labor, and other charges are allocated to appropriate work.
- Verifies that all material, information, tools, and labor are available before scheduling.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Four years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred.
- A proven history of related inventory management, including budgeting, forecasting, and CMMS, is required.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and G-Suite is necessary.
