ABOUT THE ROLE
This position coordinates, directs, plans, and controls activities of the maintenance department workers ensuring that tasks and jobs are completed within company standards.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Workforce Mgt: Lead and oversee oilers and Preventitive/Predictive crews.
- Technical Expertise: Provide Hands on support for lubrication, Preventative maintenance and Predictive maintenance.
- Practical knowledge of predictive methods - vibration, ultrasonic, lube analysis, etc.
- Workforce Mgt: Assign daily work orders and tasks based on priority, and support in scheduling/ planning.
- Workforce Mgt: Monitor team performance and communicate any deviations.
- Work Execution: Audit completed jobs to ensure they are accurate and all documentation complete.
- Safety: Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations for the maintenance department.
- Planning & Execution: Review and approve job plans, spare parts, and resource requirements.
- Equipment Reliability: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and develop permanent solutions.
- Equipment Reliability: Recommend improvements to extend equipment life and reduce breakdown.
- Technical Expertise: Provide Hands on support for pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, compressors and process equipment.
- Safety: Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, permit checks, and compliance w/ electrical safety plan.
- Inventory & Resource Mgt: Ensure team complies with inventory and tool check out processes.
- Training & Development: Train technicians on new equipment, procedures, and best practices.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Previous leadership experience in an industrial setting.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Four years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
- Ability to follow through with assigned tasks and meet deadlines under high pressure situations.
- Working with computer programs such as Excel and Microsoft Word to complete daily work logs.
- Strong communication skills.
