ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for planning, executing, and completing specific projects on time and within budget. Supports safety training, compliance with safety policies and procedures, and offers suggestions to improve safety culture and performance for the projects and operations. Communicates and problem solves daily with operations team, sales team, project owners, and senior management as needed. Effectively works with team to deal with schedule changes and works collaboratively to solve problems to keep jobs on track. Makes
decisions independently to address issues, solve problems, and effectively manage costs for the portfolio of projects. Spends significant amount of time on job sites to manage the job and address issues. Provides feedback to the operations teams on how to best solve challenges in completing projects on time and under budget. Multiple projects are required to be managed at the same time throughout the year. This position reports to the Arizona Operations Manager while working with other departments within the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Collaborating with area management to implement projects ranging from greenfield sites to large- scale plants.
- Managing process improvements and participating in equipment selection and quoting.
- Demonstrating experience in aggregate material processing.
- Participating in the capital improvement submittal process.
- Providing support to aggregate plants as required.
- Interpreting quality specifications to achieve desired results based on processing equipment needs.
- Utilizing AggFlow to determine yields and equipment requirements.
- Contributing to a team environment and supporting areas outside the daily scope of work.
- Preparing project assessments, including cost analyses, Gantt charts, and historical data.
- Managing projects through completion while coordinating assigned contractors.
- Working with management on site inventories and reconciliation.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and
- environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Education Preferred: Bachelors degree
Required Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, or related industry software experience strongly
preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment, including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
