ABOUT THE ROLE
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is an integral role in the support of sales, marketing and customer service. The ISR’s primary objective is to support (outside) Sales Representatives / Territory Managers in the administration of pricing quotation, project tracking and sales forecasts. The ISR’s secondary objective is to achieve sales targets to assigned segments through proactive prospecting over the phone, internet and responding to customer inquiries. The third objective is to help in the coordination of clearing sales order transactions through timely and accurate quote entry, gatekeeping the transfer of data between the CRM and ERP systems (contracts and haul pay rates.) The results are measured through sales volume, margins, project tracking KPIs, forecast accuracy, quote entry, ticket success, charging and paying the correct haul rates.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Assisting Territory Managers and Sales Representatives with project tender research, Salesforce updating, customer inquiries, complaint resolution, and sales opportunity follow-ups.
- Managing quote entry, quote transmission, and proactive selling to specific customer segments.
- Reviewing sales transactions for accuracy, resolving errors, and maintaining CRM data.
- Driving C.O.D. and Same-Day order volume, price objectives, and managing small-sized customer segments and general inquiries.
- Generating "right-first-time" invoices, administering a proactive pricing process, and assisting with Channel Price lists in SFDC.
- Assisting in identifying root causes for Sales Workflow exceptions and coordinating error corrections to remove Sales Order holds.
- Assisting in the formulation and development of sales & marketing strategies for COD accounts and small-to-medium sized accounts.
- Coordinating the collection of sales backlog and forecast information, while tracking market indicators alongside the Marketing Analyst.
- Supporting A/R, Credit, and Supply Chain teams with collections, COD sales reconciliation, CARBs, and COD process execution.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: Post secondary degree/diploma
- Required Work Experience: 3+ Years Work Experience
- Required Technical Skills: Salesforce.com, SAP, APEX
- Travel Requirements: 5%
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of the construction industry an asset
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
