ABOUT THE ROLE

The Process Technical Manager provides strategic and hands-on leadership for Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement functions. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products by integrating product quality, process capability, and raw material performance under a cohesive quality and process management approach.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead site Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement functions, aligning product quality and process performance under one cohesive framework.
  • Drive a culture of quality excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the site.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products through a strong understanding of customer requirements, process capability, and raw material performance.
  • Verify compliance with quality standards through routine audits of processes, products, and data systems.
  • Lead the site implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Oversee the development, administration, and continuous improvement of quality and process data systems at the site level.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts related to unplanned downtime, waste, process variability, and customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

 

 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A bachelor’s in engineering is required (chemical, mechanical, electrical, industrial).
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ leadership experience in Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement for a high-speed continuous process is required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and/or ASQ Certification (CQE, CQM, or CQA) preferred. 
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment within established policies and procedures, including the authority and responsibility to withhold materials and shipments as situations arise.
  • Experience tracking, identifying, and implementing applicable code compliance requirements, with a strong, proven background in applied basic and advanced statistics, is preferred.
