Join the EXCEPTIONAL® Metals team, a brand of Amrize Building Envelope and manufacturer of high-quality metal products designed for use with single-ply commercial roofing systems. 

 

Were seeking a Product Manager - Metals who's ready to be part of an innovative, people-first brand shaping the future of the roofing industry.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE
The product manager develops and maintains existing products by identifying potential products, conducting market research, generating product requirements, determining specifications and pricing, and developing marketing strategies. In close cooperation with the sales and marketing teams the product manager operates to meet or exceed business goals and drives profitable growth.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

• Determines customer needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
• Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product modifications.
• Determines product feasibility through cross-functional work with research and development.
• Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts, special reports and analyses.
• Brings new products to market by examining proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
• Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales,
marketing, and production.
• Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
• Three to five years of experience in product leadership, marketing and long-range planning required.
• Experience in the construction field or roofing industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as project management skills.
• Thorough understanding of market developments, marketing strategies and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven work experience in product management.
• Ability to communicate recommendations to executive management and cross functional teams.
• Proven experience managing all aspects of a successful product throughout a launch to the market.
• Experience in supporting the marketing and communication activities necessary to develop and launch new products.
• Ability to travel when necessary.
