ABOUT THE ROLE
The Production Manager will share accountability for safety, environment, customer service, performance, quality, human resources, plant image, and community relations in this site. The Production Manager will have direct accountability for specific functions in the Aggregates operation as assigned by the Plant Manager. The successful candidate must be organized and follow a disciplined approach towards execution.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Implement and track maintenance, production processes and strategies to achieve targeted Operational Performance Indicators (OPI’s).
- Employ daily communication process with management and Quality Control to drive group efficiencies, manage inventories and production performance.
- Management of stockpile inventories.
- Assist in planning, driving and tracking financial performance with local/regional tools.
- Develop, implement and manage annual repair budgets, perform financial analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Forecast profitability and production to optimize yield while supporting supply chain with balancing inventory and sales needs.
- Directly responsible for the individual development, motivation, and training of all direct reports to maximize their performance.
- Ensure site level compliance to Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and all Amrize and Regulatory guidelines.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: High School Diploma or Bachelors Degree; Engineering or Business field of study preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years proven operational and supervisory experience preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
