ABOUT THE ROLE 
The Director of Sales is a key strategic leader responsible for the growth and market penetration of the Elevate brand. You will design and execute high-impact sales strategies that strengthen our specification presence, deepen relationships with building owners, and maximize the performance of our distribution and contractor networks. This role is the bridge between corporate strategy and field execution, ensuring Elevate remains a market leader in commercial roofing.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Strategic Leadership & Execution
•    Sales Strategy: Define and deploy Elevate’s sales roadmap in alignment with broader commercial roofing business goals to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
•    Initiative Implementation: Lead Regional Business Managers (RBMs) in executing territory planning, distributor training (Distributor 101), and product knowledge (PK) initiatives. 
•    Performance Optimization: Oversee the "Rep Toolbox," ensuring sales representatives have the data, assets, and technology needed to win in the field.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration
•    Marketing Integration: Partner with the Marketing team to synchronize brand messaging and ensure field feedback influences marketing collateral and campaign decisions.
•    Omni-Channel Content: Collaborate with Regional and Strategic Account Managers (RAMs/SAMs) to develop tailored sales content for diverse channel partners.
•    Event Strategy: Lead the strategy for trade show demonstrations and high-impact industry events to showcase Elevate’s competitive advantages.


Network & Talent Development
•    Engagement Programs: Recommend and curate elite contractor incentive programs and trips to drive brand loyalty.
•    Continuously develop market intelligence through engagement with local industry associations, events, and vendor partnerships
•    Team Mentorship: Manage and mentor the sales force, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. 


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
•    Minimum 7–10 years of experience in sales leadership or sales enablement, specifically within the commercial roofing or building materials sector.
•    Proven track record of aligning sales initiatives with complex marketing strategies to hit revenue targets.
•    Exceptional ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners through clear, persuasive communication.
•    Ability to use market data to develop territory plans and training programs that address specific competitive gaps.
•    Comfortable managing a remote/regional team and navigating a fast-paced, evolving market.
•    Travel: Ability to travel 25–50% to engage with regional teams, distributors, and key industry events.
•    Flexibility: Availability to attend off-site contractor incentive trips and major national trade shows.
